The puzzle consisted of 15 lettered tiles arranged on a 4x4 matrix, with one square empty. The object of the puzzle is to restore it to its proper alphabetical order, by sliding one tile at a time into the empty square. To play, just select @geoSliders from the @geos menu availiable in most applications, or double-click the icon from the deskTop. Move the pointer over the tile that you wish to slide, and press the button. If it is an impossible move, the computer will make a low beep. When you eventually restore the puzzle, you will be greeted with a short fanfare, and then the game will be restarted. On the right hand side of the playing board, there are two icons, the geoSliders icon on the top, and the help icon on the bottom. Clicking on the @geoSliders icon will automatically restart the game. Clicking the @help icon will present you with on-line instructions. You can refer to the instructions at anytime without being penalised. Page through the instructions one page at a time, by clicking on the @next and @prev icons. To exit on-line instructions and return to your game, click the @cancel icon. A timer is provided which keeps track of your time, and a move counter is displayed below the main board. The timer stops when you look at the on-line instructions, and restarts when you return to the game. To quit geoSliders and return to your previous program, just click the @close icon on the geoSliders title bar.
